We are raising our kids to be a part of the world

“We are from Chile. I work for a shipping agency in Mobile. We lived in Santiago with five million people together, but it is a very new city. We miss the Andes Mountains. You can ski in the morning and have dinner at night on the beach. It is one of the safest cities in Latin America and the government is strong. Chile is a different culture. With 17 million people, it is like a small state. There is mining in the north and wineries and a salmon industry in the south.”

“We have four kids and are here for three to five years. I have a big family in Chile and I am very close to them. Missing them have made the adjustment has been hard for me, but the kids have done well. It is a great opportunity for the kids to learn another language and to open their minds because the world is very small. We are raising our kids to be a part of the world.”

Welcome! I lived in Ecuador as a young person, & even though I missed my home, I found that I was learning & experiencing something NEW everyday! Life was different & exciting…I wasn’t afraid to try new things….especially, I had to, if I wanted to eat!
You will go back home one day & then you will dream of what you experienced here & miss those things. Life is Wonderful- Embrace each new day!
Now, I want to go to Santiago!
