“I am getting married on July 22. We have been dating for almost two years and I am ready for it to be there. I can’t wait to kiss him. We have waited for the wedding to kiss. I have kissed his cheeks and his nose, but haven’t kissed his lips. We wanted to wait until we see each other on our wedding day. It was his idea. We met in church. We will live in Mobile and go to school at the University of Mobile and then to seminary in New Orleans. We want to be missionaries in Africa. I went to Uganda last summer and he was in South Sudan for three months. We want to go back. It is not my plan. It is the Lord’s plan and whatever he has for me. I am confident about it.
Good enough isn’t an option. It’s got to be the best I can do.
