I am an amateur musician. I used to play around a lot more. You grow up, get married and have to make a real living. Playing music is a hobby now. I have worked in construction for over 30 years. It was hard working in construction when Wall Street crashed. We had to keep taking pay cuts and there weren’t many superintendent jobs like I had before. You have to do what you can to make ends meet. I have people who depend on me. It has picked up in the last two years and there is more work. There is money being spent on construction in Mobile and it is spilling over into retail.
Good enough isn’t an option. It’s got to be the best I can do.
