I want to be a lawyer because lawyers helped get my family out a bad situation

May 1, 2017

“I am a senior and about to graduate and have a full ride to Alabama. I have a convertible and would rather be going with my friends to the beach, but I have to buckle down and finish this last month. I want to be a lawyer. My mom had a bad divorce that lasted a long time. In a weird way I feel like the lawyers saved our family when we had to leave California to get out of a bad situation. I want to be a women’s and children’s defense lawyer and help them through their bad times. My name is Alexa and it means defender of man. I have a black belt in American Kenpo and a Dogwood Trail Maid. I am so proud of that and the volunteer work we did. I can’t believe this is my last summer before college begins.”
