“I have been selling on this cart for about a year. It has its moments. Some days are terrible. You never know. Two years ago November I broke my knee cap. USA Hospital operated on it and did a bad job. One day last May, I fell to the ground and had no pulse. I had a heart attack. I woke up and didn’t know where I was and why I was there. I was in a coma for four days. My nurse called me the Little Miracle Man because I was clinically dead when I went in. I start getting social security next week and it will be a little better.”

“Why do you have the bears?”

“I had a brown bear like the movie Ted. He went through a lot of rain storms and looked rough. A lady gave me a brand new bear. I washed Ted and he now sits in a chair in my living room. I tell people I am just Ted’s manager.”
