I have been in the Navy for just over a year. Ship life is a big transition. The first time I was on a ship I got seasick. Everything is smaller and shorter and you can’t go anywhere else. You are locked into a community with the same faces and you have to make it work. I like being on dry land in a place I have never been talking to people I have never met. I will be in for six years and I don’t know where the Navy will take me, but I am along for the ride.
