“I am an Uber driver in New Orleans. These are pictures of my grandkids. We all live in Thibodaux, and I see them all of the time. Being a grandparent is more fun than being a parent. These two are so smart; we read with them and get to see all that they learn. It’s a harder world now, and I hope to be a good influence on them. My oldest son died of cancer when he was 21. We had six good years with him before he passed away. I know he is in a better place and that we will see him again one day. Losing a child makes me appreciate even more the time with my family. I don’t take it for granted. My advice is to love your kids while you have them.”
Good enough isn’t an option. It’s got to be the best I can do.
