“I started messing around in photoshop drawing and making T-shirt designs for our Battleship rugby club. I made designs from funky ideas I had about the city and inside jokes and decided to make something out of it. We researched how to open an online store. We had no capital and were flying by the seat of our pants. We opened about 12 months ago. We don’t make much money from this, but it is a fun hobby that makes people laugh and smile.”
“They used to have nutria rodeos on Causeway in the ’70s. It was a weird event to have, but necessary to protect the ecosystem. These shirts are our way to protect Mobile’s cultural ecosystem. This is where have fun, get creative, and meet new people.”
“There is no end game, we want to bring the community together and celebrate our culture. It is so fun to think of the ideas people will understand and enjoy.”
