“We moved here because we wanted a better quality of life. Where we lived was so cold. They have 3-4″ of snow right now. We love everything here. Everywhere you look is beautiful and everyone is so nice. I feel the love everywhere I go. How can you not be happy here? I am usually an introvert, and didn’t get out and do a lot before, but that is why we are here. This place makes me want to live and experience life and embrace things. Now I have a list of things I can’t wait to do, and I want to do everything twice. We came down here with friends for a vacation on Perdido. But then started Googling and stalking Fairhope online and looking at it through Google Street views. My spirit has lived here for years. My husband had a carpentry business that he sold before we moved. I still have my business that cleans coal mines. I want to expand my cleaning business here. It is honest work. We also want to buy a house, fix it up, and bring it back to life.”
